I recently discovered an interesting website called Open2Study.com that offers month long courses for FREE! It's connected to a University in Australia. I was a bit curious to say the least, so I began investigating. I was amazed at what I found; they have a whole spectrum of courses available from management, leadership, project management, photography, healthcare, technology, and so much more (48 in all). What a great way to test the waters in different career fields or boost your resume. They don't offer course credits, although; they do issue a certificate of completion for each course, if you pass the module exams with at least a 60%. There are forums in which you can get involved and contribute for each class (1,000 or more class mates). I found for myself, it was easier to complete all the topics and exam for a module on the same day as well as go through the additional reading and participate in the forum. I usually spend a couple hours for each module. Just for the record I am not affiliated with this website, I decided to share the resource because I thought you'd appreciate having free development opportunities as much as I do. Don't take my word for it check it out yourself. I think you will be just as pleasantly surprised as I was.
